This kitchen is from a new build home done from blue print. The interior finishes, flooring and lighting were all carefully selected to evoke a feeling of warmth and airiness. Corner cupboards were added to the architect’s original design to enhance the feeling of old world craftsmanship and tradition. The owners wanted special details to reflect their desire to incorporate California Spanish/Montecito inspired interiors into today’s bright, lively, casual entertaining style. Hand crafted glazed terracotta tiles and exquisitely carved glazed decorative tiles bring extra atmosphere to the space. A second oven is concealed within the island and the wood stained cabinetry seen to the right in the second photo houses a wine peninsula and linen storage for the dining room
